Stonzo… splendid examples of Ligurian Baroque style including fine works by some renowned Masters of their time.
One of the more important and grandiose churches is that of San Giovanni del Groppo in piazza d’Erba in Prelà. Built in the 15th century with its three aisles divided by stone pillars which support lancet (pointed) Gothic arches, it houses important works of art by masters such as Casanova and Bruno.
